GREAT VIDEO! This is perfect timing as I’ve been going through my toolbox, purging some resources and adding news one. I remember Freemind from something you did months ago and have used it some, but not to this extent. I’m big on visuals and generally write things out on paper (in a similar, non-linear format) and also use poster boards with post it notes and those have helped a ton. I’m going to give Freemind a consistent whirl this month and gauge the results that I have.

How I’ll use this: Right now, I have a signature talk which has morphed into a 3 week teleclass and 2 hour workshop. It’s called “Procrastination to Purpose and Profit”. Meaning that, when we decide to live on purpose and seek to overcome procrastination in sustainable ways, we see our whole life profit. I’m going to use Freemind to work through ideas and different strategies to get the content out in different ways to impact more people.

I love the theme of this as my business focus and name is called “Finish Your Project.” It’s so valuable that people see that until their project/product is finished, it cannot be sold, shared, donated or contributed. With finishing comes power, contribution, professional growth and profit.

Thanks for sharing some of your brilliant templates! They’re really useful for organizing and prioritizing – and getting clear.

Any butt-kicking advice for those of us who get so into creating beautiful mindmaps that we procrastinate on actually taking action?

Coz like the man said, “the map is not the territory!”

Pls Note – even though I procrastinate by fiddling with mindmaps, I do it much, much less than I did before using mindmaps!

Great video Bob! I like the music intro and exit.
I love mind mapping and have used it periodically ever since you introduced me to it years ago.
I see how mind mapping can become a daily ritual.
The task list software I’m currently using does not have the big green check mark or ability to move item to Done folder. I like checking off stuff as it is completed.
I’ll updated you on the next strategy call how I’ve improved on my 3 M’s

This was great training Bob. I downloaded this software recently (at your suggestion) and have a couple of maps on the go.Your instructions gives me a better idea of what to include. I like the Finished box.

I’ll be setting up more mindmaps. I’m working on my first big project and it’s been overwhelming. And since it’s my first, there are a lot of “firsts” I haven’t done before and have had to figure out. It’s easy to get distracted then. I can see where this would help keep me focused.

Thank you for this short “how-to” video on using Freemind! I have it on my computer, have watched your tutorials in the IMSuccess Library, yet still felt too overwhelmed with info to begin to simply start using it.

Seeing your frameworks (to-do-today, projects, biz model) was very helpful and I will shamelessly use your examples to TARL!

Great video Bob and really helpful. I’m at a point of confusion with all the possibilities, things I need to do and know and how to move forward. The mindmapping process looks to be a real help. “Stuff” always filters through my mind and often gets lost. This is a way of quickly recording ideas so they don’t get lost and then organizing them into something useful.

Will definitely download the software and more important – start using it.

Thank you for providing this video Bob! The first part was very encouraging and the second part was very motivating.

We’re all in different situations in regards to our online businesses. Because of my current situation, which I talked about in the survey here’s what I’m going to do.

I’m going to download the software and map out all the big projects I’ve always wanted to do but for some reason haven’t done them. I’m going to map it out as if it’s my last stand. I’m basically going to give myself an ultimatum. No more excuses!
