Hi Bob and Ann,
I’m not sure if we are talking about the same script, but I set up http://www.supportdesksite.com/ last year with what I think is the successor to Maian Support, though I haven’t done much with it, i.e. no FAQ as yet.
I got it in a nickel sale when it came out, I see it’s now $67. There is an affiliate link at the bottom of the page (it lets you do that), but you can probably work out the direct link from the name if anyone has a problem with that.

Hi Paul
Ticket Pro is the paid version of Maian Support. According to their site, they are updating and bringing back the free version in a couple of months.
Ravi and I use the free version. Kirt Christensen used the free version and recommended it to his mastermind group. He later upgraded to the paid version and said it was about the same… except for a few more features and looked a lot slicker.
If someon doesn’t want to wait, TicketPro is an excellent script at an affordable price.

Hi Bob,
I cannot find inside WP Dashboard where I can turn off the date of individual posts?
Is it by way of a plugin?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Bob – i’m getting behind waiting for DAP support to help me get back into DAP.
Anyone else asking for copy of your slides? pdf? anything?
Following step by step is hard enough when i’m not hightech (this is hightech to me), but i know it’ll be impossible to remember all this after the step by step video course is over, and i want to expand or change my site.
I’ve had about 4 people ask me so far, which is not quite critical mass yet.
Hi Bob
The slides will be a great help to me too. I’m based in the UK and with the timing of the webinars I am not able to make it live and I have to watch the replays. PDF’s would be most welcome. Thanks alot for the fantastic content. Donovan
Janice,
You can turn off the individual dates of your posts by going into your WP Admin and clicking Settings (near the very bottom), then changing the Date Format to Custom and deleting whatever shows up in that field, then Save Changes.
Thanks Anita for your help! It now works. So happy
.
Have a great day.
Bob – when i do the protect post feature in DAP, my site still shows the post on the home page. Your example, the Free Tools video #2 disappears after refresh – mine doesn’t.
When i click the link, it says i don’t have access, but the post/title is still on the home page.
Hi Bob,
I mentioned on the call a free help desk script. It’s one I’ve used for several years ( http://annrusnak.com/helpdesk ) and the same one Ravi uses. It’s very simple and user friendly. I discovered it’s not available right now because it’s currently undergoing a makeover. According the site, it should be back around April/May http://www.maiansupport.com/
I do have the older version and would be happy to share it BUT you’re on your own and I would assume no responsibility for it. I found it easy to install and configure… Unless you’re tech savvy, you might want to wait until newer version is available.
Reveal Page & Post Number plug in.
Here is the plug that will show your post and page numbers. Very useful if you want to exclude pages/post from showing on your site.

Great Class Bob… once again you’ve done an outstanding job. I’m so excited about the possibilities with this plug in
