Internet Marketing LAMPS

As a former teacher, I like acronyms so bear with me here as I share with you 5 areas in which internet marketing can really “fire up” your business.

I call it, “Lighting Your LAMPS.”

The first is internet marketing gives you incredible Leverage. You can do something once and you can be paid for it over and over and over again. You can use technology to reach thousands of people in this same amount of time it would take you to reach one.

You also can use internet marketing as a matter of Attraction. You can bring people towards you instead of you chasing them down. This is incredible for you to really live the life that you are look for and impact people in massively important ways.

You also are able to harness the internet marketing power of Messaging. So that you can control what people know about you, what people can benefit from your message, what they get to know from your expertise.

You also have an incredible opportunity for Profitability. Unlike brick and mortar businesses and other types of commerce in the world that we live in today, internet marketing is highly profitable. That’s because it’s not as expensive as traditional forms of marketing but you can get your message out to as many people as possible and you can again attract those people that are really most targeted to work with you.

Finally internet marketing allows you a high level of Systemization. You don’t have to recreate the wheel all the time and you don’t have to spend endless hours doing things that have very poor results. Instead you can plug into a good system. You can use it again and again and again and the scalability factor of internet marketing can really help you out.

Bob-
I just love this acronym and the usefulness of it! So many people look at the Internet and Internet marketing as just a 1-dimensional tool. But when you apply your LAMPS principle of Internet marketing to an entire business, it’s easy to see exactly how it fits into all areas of making any business stronger and more profitable in both the short term and long term.

As always… your ideas are brilliant. Although I spend a lot of time talking about messaging, without the other parts, the message can fall short. I hope loads of people take note of the opportunities to fire up their businesses!

Your messaging training is indeed top-notch, and I think you help boil down effective communication far beyond the “elevator pitch” issues people typically focus on. I also love how you use the power of online video to get face time with your audience.

Boy, you really sparked up a great new idea. (Lightbulb!)

It’s funny. So many people come to me about getting the attraction and messaging parts done, but I often notice I end up counseling them on the other three, because they haven’t turned on the LAMPS yet.

Awesome idea – and thanks for sharing.

Neat acronym with each part separate but put together at the end with systems. That’s the part many fail with–me included. Setting up the other parts of the lamp without implementing the Systemization leads to doing it over and over randomly. Not the best way to get from A to Z for sure.

Right on target, Bob! I like the way you think in terms of the BIG picture rather than a focus on just ONE piece of the puzzle. It’s the healthy interaction of ALL the pieces that can make things click, and easy to forget or overlook an important piece. Your acronyms and mind maps serve well in that critical BIG picture, especially given how easy it is to get overwhelmed with info overload in the internet marketing arena. One has to stay focused, and as you know, that’s easier said than done. I have LAMPS on a sticky note on my screen to remind me of that.

A lot of folks have internet marketing knowledge, but few have the teacher talent to get the point across in a clear way that’s simple to understand and implement. It’s kind of like some pro athlete trying to coach little league…ie. knowing the sport itself matters little if you don’t know how to COACH. You have a brilliant way of coaching and providing effective communication toward that BIG picture. Thanks for another BRIGHT idea to fire things up. Light the LAMPS!
